Ikrar Dwi Matra

Bismillâhhir rahmânir rahîm
In the name of Allah the most beneficent and the most merciful

Asyhadu allâ ilâha illallâh
I witness that only one god, Allah

Wa asyhadu anna muhammadar rasûlullâh
And I witness that Muhammad is Allah’s messenger

Radhitu billâhi rabbâ
I am please that Allah is my Lord

Wa bil islâmi dînâ
I am please that Islam is my din

Wa bi muhammadin nabiyyaw warasûlâ
I am please that Muhammad is my prophet and
Allah’s messenger

Wa bil qur’ani imâmâ wa hukmâ
I am please that al-Qur’an is my way of life and guidance

Rabbî zidnî ilmâ
Ya Allah, please add my knowledge

Warzuqnî fahmâ
and enrich my understanding
